About Us
New plans, and the updating of the Affordable Care Act by the current Administration are providing many new options in 2019. We review and publish these changes, and discuss the impact on Keystone State consumers.Short-term plans have become more popular, but are only suitable for specific situations.
Whether you live in a big city like Philadelphia, Harrisburg, or Pittsburgh, or a small town such as Dillsburg, Hershey, or Wexford, we do the shopping, so you can save, by reviewing the best available rates offered by the most reputable carriers. And if it’s a traditional carrier such as UPMC, Highmark, Aetna, or Keystone, or a smaller company such as Geisinger, we review all policy options, so you can make the most informed decision. Senior Medicare coverage provides numerous plans for persons that have reached age 65.
We understand that each individual and family may have specific and unique medical issues and budget concerns. And eligibility for federal subsidies can greatly influence the type of plan that is most suitable. For those reasons, we provide customized recommendations that are easy to understand, and effortless to apply for.
The Website
The website is owned and operated by Edward Harris who was born and raised in Harrisburg. In 1980 he graduated (Finance & Journalism) from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and began his career in this business.
And now, more than 40 years later, he is still researching, comparing and finding the most affordable medical plans for Pennsylvania residents. Ed and his wife Diane, a Pittsburgh native, have two children and are avid (and rabid!) Steelers fans. He enjoys tennis, golf and international politics. Ed also reluctantly bowls every 15 years.
This website will provide you with the lowest prices from top carriers. We also believe in teaching and educating, so there are many articles that are updated regularly. We also take great pride that our clients continue to use us a source of information, even after a policy has been purchased.
Before And After Pa Open Enrollment
The Pa Health Insurance Exchange has been created (the result of federal legislation), and we will assist and help you compare and apply for the most cost-effective benefits. If a federal tax subsidy is available to you, we’ll explain how you reduce your premium and which plans will benefit you the most.
Marketplace Open Enrollment in Pennsylvania through the Pennie Exchange takes place during designated times. We do all of the research and comparison of plans for you, and enroll you quickly and easily online. As previously mentioned, if you miss Open Enrollment, we will review the options you have regarding obtaining affordable healthcare.
